ENVIRONMENT
Exmouth Marina is situated on the Jurassic Coast, a designated World Heritage Site, and lies beside the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The nearby Exe Estuary is also recognised as an internationally important site for wildlife, and is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and a Special Protection Area (SPA). As such, we take our environmental responsibilities seriously here at the marina, and ask that our customers do the same. We can provide detailed information to help boat owners ensure they avoid wildlife refuges and use only the properly designated areas for power-boat and water-skiing activities – we also monitor all craft to ensure the lower speed limits are properly observed.
In addition, Exmouth Marina offers berth holders and visitors recycling facilities for waste oil, anti-fouling and batteries and provides refuse disposal.

Updated codes of conduct have been produced for the Exe Estuary to help promote a safe and responsible approach to carrying out activities in the area. The Exe Estuary Management Partnership (EEMP) in conjunction with the South East Devon Habitat Regulations Partnership undertook a review of old codes of conduct, with input from local clubs, user groups and national recreational bodies to ensure that updated codes followed existing local and national guidance. All codes can be downloaded (above), as an electronic version which can be printed on A4 paper.
